So according to our Last.fm…
We sound like VSGD, Subject To Change, 29th Street Disciples, Stella Drive AND MOAR!
Anyone a fan of any of those bands?
If you wanna check us out just go to http://www.last.fm/music/kd+knows+my+name or if you download our music (which should be up for free download on there, if it isn’t then someone please tell me off and I will sort it out immediately!) and the scrobbling should happen automatically!
Radios! FUCK YEAH!
This is the best we could whip up at short notice!
Be sure to listen past the end for a little surprise!
(you’ll probably be surprised by how completely not worth the wait it was…)

The Last Time / Cover Your Ears
KD Knows My Name - Pepl r Worthels
The last track off our newest EP “The Last Time.”
It was even once complimented by a guy from the radio! (That means it must be good, right?)
Along with EVERYTHING WE’VE EVER RECORED* it is available for free download on our bandcamp:
http://kdknowsmyname.bandcamp.com/track/pepl-r-worthels
The track title is inspired by what can only be described as a masterpiece of internet humour

Lyrics
It’s amazing how easy words rhyme
When you’ve got the time to think of them
It’s amazing how easy words get along
It’s so easy to blurt it all out
When you’ve got something to write about
It’s amazing how easy one writes a song
But it ceases to be amazing
When only a few words are changing
And the melody is the same; every time
And the formula is completed
When the same 5 chords are repeated
And you start to reuse the rhymes
If only people were words
This city would be a song, a poem, a book
And so would this world
*that wont poison your ears… hopefully

Cover Your Ears
KD Knows My Name - Reach (S Club 7 Cover)
Ever wondered why Kristian Davison is constantly turning down your pleads to procreate with him? Well, it’s because his balls still ache from hitting the high notes in this!
EVERYONE enjoys S Club 7… Right?

- Hey Ya

Cover Your Ears
KD Knows My Name - Hey Ya (OutKast cover)
Not a parody this time. Just a straight up sped up, slightly distorted and massively more screamed version of the already awesome original.

BRING ON THE TRUMPETS
Ok, ok, ok, ok, OKAY!
I get it, we’ve been quiet for a while, jeez! BUT we haven’t been quiet without good reason, oh no!
Over the last couple of months we’ve had a lot of gigs and said a fond (temporary) farewell to our bassist, Matt, who has left for university up in Plymouth!
But what may interest anyone who has bothered to read this far more than that is that we spent a couple of weekends in the studio and have produced THREE lovely new CDs!
That’s right THREE!!!!
1. Original EP entitled “The Last Time”
2. A pop-cover EP of 3 super awesome (and not at all cheesy) pop songs entitled “Cover Your Ears”
3. A punk cover tribute album to our good friend Wilbur Sargunaraj.
(You can find a preview here. You may to like his facebook page first.. If you don’t then DO IT ANYWAY!)
An advert for our new EPs!
- Naive

ITS FREE, GODDAMMIT!
What should we name our pop cover EP?
So the more astute of you may notice we posted a very similar* post earlier today, but we’re REALLY eager to make this EP as good as we can and find out what everyone else thinks! SO read on :D
So we’ve recently booked 4 whole days in the studio with our good friend Dan Angelow! If that means nothing to you then let me break it down!
Day 1: Record everything for the 4 originals we are re-recording
Day 2: Record everything for the 3 POP COVER SONGS we are recordingDay 3: Record bass, drums and maybe some guitars for our Wilbur Sargunaraj cover CD
Day 4: Record rest of guitar + vocals for Wilbur Sargunaraj Cover CD
Then mixing/mastering shall begin!!But the question we place to you… is what shall we name our pop cover EP?!
We’re getting 3 CDs out of these recording sessions… Best answer gets free merch… SCORE!So what are you waiting for?
*Completely identical
